The trading screen is separated into several windows:
The underlying market window, the options window and the spread market window.
- The underlying market window, located at the top of the screen
allows the user to watch the activity of the underlying. It shows depth and bid/ask.
- The option window allows the user to customize
relevant trading information in a series of columns to have available to him while
trading, such as bid and ask, bid size and ask size. The student is also
able to make markets or respond to market orders in this window.
- The spread market window allows the user to
view current markets in option spreads. The simulator requests students to make
markets in spreads. Students can also update their spread markets as conditions
change.
